Sentry products are developed and manufactured with the understanding that a commitment to the conservation of natural resources is essential in order to ensure a sustainable source of raw material as well as enabling greater market access.

Since 2006, Sentry doorblank products, including Sentry 60X (FD60), have been available with the option of FSC plywood faces. Further available face options include MDF and Particle-board, also manufactured from plantation species.

As product development continues, priority will be given to ensure that the environmental pedigree of Sentry products is maintained without compromise.

TFT (Tropical Forests Trust) have reported previously, following a study of the raw material sources used, and explained that species used in the manufacture of Sentry products provide positive social and environmental benefits.

Further evidence of Sentry's awareness of and commitment to embrace environmental concerns came by way of Sentry GreenLite launched in 2005.

From 2012 Sentry is pleased to offer 100% FSC production.
